Laurentian University, which was incorporated on March 28, 1960, is a mid-sized bilingual university in Greater Sudbury, OntarioCanada. With more than 175 undergraduate and graduate programs, Laurentian raises the bar with top-ranked programs that have garnered national and international attention.
The university has strong ties with the mining industry, being one of the few schools in Canada offering mining engineering, and the only Canadian university located in a city where the major industry is mining.
